Who we are
cs2pets.com ("The Coop") is run by [CSMarketCap legal entity, address]. We are the controller of the data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
From Steam sign-in: your SteamID and public persona name and avatar. Your SteamID is used to keep one bird per account and is never shown on a page.
What you report: stage, dates, name, coat, feeding taps, farewells, map pins, and any photo you choose to attach.
For reminders, only if you turn them on: a browser push token, an email address, or a private calendar link, plus your time zone.
Basic logs: IP address and browser type, kept for up to 30 days for security.
What is public
Your bird page, its card and your persona name are public by default. Counts in the register are aggregated. Friends features read your public Steam friends list; if it is private, those features are off.
What stays on your device
HatchBook photos stay in your browser unless you attach one to the page. We never see the others.
Why we use it
To run your page and the register (performing the service you asked for), to send the reminders you chose (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), and to keep the site safe (legitimate interest).
How long we keep it
While your account exists. Plaques in the Memorial stay unless you delete them. Deleting your account removes your data within 30 days; counts already aggregated in the register stay as numbers.
Your rights
Export or delete everything from Account settings. You can also ask us to access, correct or restrict your data, or complain to your local data protection authority. The site is not meant for children under 13, or under 16 where your country requires it.
Changes
We will note changes at the top of this page, and email account holders about significant ones.
